NICETOWN-TIOGA — A man walking along a sidewalk took out a gun and fired several shots, in the middle of the afternoon.
Now, Philadelphia police with surveillance video from two different angles are looking for him.
They say the shootings happened at 4:24pm on Wednesday, June 19, in the area of 18th and W. Ontario streets in Nicetown-Tioga.
“The suspect, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, appears to be firing a weapon, which is being carried inside of a bag,”
according to police.
Something was fired since police said,
“A business in the area was struck, along with several parked vehicles. No victims were located.”
The gunman escaped on foot and was last seen running east on Ontario from 18th Street.
He’s described as having a thin build, wearing that long gray hooded sweatshirt, dark-colored pants and a white shirt.
