EAST KENSINGTON — Philadelphia police investigators say they’ve figured out a man’s pattern of sexual assault and robberies on women that happened for more than a week.
Now, the Special Victims Unit wants to catch the suspect.
They say from June 2 to June 10, he approached women on the 2500 block of Jasper Street in East Kensington, and offered them money to participate in sexual acts.
Then, it appears at least some of the women accepted.
“After the act, the suspect assaults the victims by choking them, then taking the money back,”
The suspect is described as about 30 years old, 5’9” tall, weighing 190 lbs., with olive skin, a muscular build, dark brown hair with a puff on top, and a goatee.
He was wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans and had, police said,
“a heavy odor of alcohol.”
Police ask that if you see the suspect, do not approach him. Instead, call the Special Victims Unit at 215-685-3252 or 3264, or 911, or the police tipline at 215-686-TIPS (8477) immediately.
