WEST PHILADELPHIA — A wellness check led to Philadelphia police finding a family of four murdered in their home.
Now, the
“naked male later identified as 29-year-old Maurice Louis sitting in a chair drinking from a bottle of vodka”
inside is under arrest and charged.

Police had responded to the home in the 5000 block of Walton Avenue in West Philadelphia’s Cedar Park area, early Wednesday afternoon.
Nobody opened the door, so authorities
“climbed into a partially open second floor window.”
That’s where they encountered Louis, and also
“a rifle case on the floor.”
Then, they found the four victims.
“All sustained shotgun related injuries and all had catastrophic head wounds and were obviously deceased,”
police reported.
Specifically, officers found his mother Janet Woodson, 51, by the front door; his stepfather Leslie Holmes, 56, in the dining room; half-brother Leslie Woodson, 7, in the kitchen area; and half-brother Sy-eed Woodson, 18, in a second floor rear bedroom.
Maurice Louis was arrested and charged with four counts of criminal homicide and related offenses.
