5 teens wanted for aggravated assault on 3 men

SPRING GARDEN — Walking in a group at night didn’t make a difference for three men.

Philadelphia police say they were attacked by a larger group of five teenaged boys, who are now wanted.

The aggravated assault happened on Friday, July 26, just before 10pm.

Police say the men were walking southbound in the 600 block of N. 17th Street

“when a group of unknown males came from behind and struck the”

32-year-old victim in the back of his head.

Then, police say the teens attacked his two friends and escaped. They were last seen heading northbound on 17th Street toward Fairmount Avenue.

Police ask that if you recognize or see the suspects, do not approach them.
