Bank robbery suspect wanted by police, FBI

CENTER CITY — The FBI/Philadelphia Police Violent Crimes Task Force is asking for help identifying and finding the man who robbed a PNC Bank branch in Center City, last month.

Authorities say the heist happened at approximately 12:50pm on Monday, Nov. 18, at 1511 Walnut Street.

First, the robber entered the bank.

“He approached the counter, presented a threatening demand note, and verbally threatened a teller.”

That teller gave him “an undisclosed amount of cash” and the robber was able to run away.

The suspect is described as a man in his 30s, about 5’5” to 5’6” tall, with a medium build and blond goatee.

He was wearing a gray zip-up hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and white sneakers.

Authorities say to consider the suspect armed and dangerous, so anyone with information is urged to call the FBI/PPD Violent Crimes Task Force at 215-418-4000.

Also, there’s a reward being offered for information leading to his capture, and tipsters can remain anonymous.
