Found: ‘Endangered’ man reportedly suffering from dementia

UPDATE — Wednesday morning, Oct. 16, police announced Robert Abdullah has returned home.


WEST OAK LANE — Philadelphia police are asking for help finding a 61-year-old man they consider “endangered” because he is reported to suffer from dementia.

Robert Abdullah was last seen at 3pm on Monday, Oct. 7, on the 6800 block of Rodney Street in West Oak Lane.

Police say he is 5’10” tall, weighs 190 lbs., and has a medium build, balding gray hair and he wears glasses.

Abdullah was last seen wearing a camouflage hat with a flag, blue sweatshirt, red and white shirt underneath, brown slippers and he was carrying two Bibles.

Anyone with information on where Abdullah may be is asked to call the Northwest Detective Division at 215-686-3353, or 911.
