Found: ‘Endangered’ man suffering from seizures, dementia

UPDATE — Tuesday morning, Dec. 17, police announced Marvin E. Smith had returned home.


NORTH PHILADELPHIA — Philadelphia police are asking for help finding a man they’re calling “endangered.”

Marvin E. Smith, 64, was last seen at 6:30pm on Saturday, Oct. 19, on the 2300 block of N. Camac Street in North Philadelphia. At the time, he was wearing a black shirt and gray sweatpants.

Smith is 5’7” tall, weighs 140 lbs., and has a thin build, medium brown complexion, brown eyes, mustache, and curly brown hair above his ears.

Police say he suffers from seizures and dementia.

Anyone with any information on where Smith may be is asked to call the Central Detective Division at 215-686-3093, or 911.
