Video: Search for armed robbers who struck man sitting in minivan

BUSTLETON — A man sitting in his minivan lost several items and a lot of money when Philadelphia police say two men approached the driver’s side door.

It happened in the middle of the afternoon on Thursday, June 20, in Bustleton.

You can see at 3:15pm, the victim was on the 1700 block of Worrel Street, parked with his hazard lights on, when he was ambushed.

Police say one of the robbers placed a handgun to the victim’s side, and ordered him not to move or look at them. Then he took the victim’s gold chain, keys, cell phone and $600 from his wallet.

Eventually, both suspects got away in a dark-colored Honda Accord with tinted windows.
