  • PHILADELPHIA – Melik Martin and Trevion Brown have announced that they will attend Drexel and suit up for the 2021-22 basketball season. Martin will have one season of eligibility remaining, while Brown will have two years remaining. Both student-athletes have completed their undergraduate studies and are now graduate students at Drexel.
  • PHILADELPHIA -Drexel Head Men's Basketball Coach Zach Spiker has named Will Chavis as an assistant coach for the upcoming season. Chavis will be returning to the college game after serving as a high school head coach in Philadelphia for the last four seasons.
  • PHILADELPHIA – Drexel Men's Basketball Head Coach Zach Spiker has been named a 2021 Lindy Center for Civic Engagement Award winner. He was given the Staff Award for Campus and Community Engagement. Spiker is the first Drexel coach to win the award.
  • RICHMOND, Va. –  The Colonial Athletic Association announced this week that 196 Drexel University student-athletes have been named to the CAA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll for the 2020 fall term.
  • PHILADELPHIA – The Drexel community is mourning the loss of Walt Fuller. A former student-athlete and coach at the school, Fuller passed away suddenly on March 30, 2021.
