  • PHILADELPHIA – Temple men's basketball guard Khalif Battle has been named the AAC Player of the Week, as announced by the league Monday afternoon. This is the second conference nod for the sophomore this season. Battle was also named to the Big 5 Weekly Honor Roll.
  • PHILADELPHIA – Khalif Battle scored 29 points, including 20 in the second half, to propel Temple to a 75-74 win over visiting Delaware Saturday night at the Liacouras Center.  The Owls overcame an 11-point second half deficit to even their record at 3-3 on the season.  Delaware dropped to 4-3.
  • PHILADELPHIA – After a trip to the Shriners Children's Charleston Classic, Temple returns to the Liacouras Center for the first of three home games against local rivals Saturday  when the Owls take on Delaware (7 pm/ESPN+/1210 AM).
  • INDIANAPOLIS—The National Invitation Tournament named the following individuals as the newest members of its eight-person committee: former basketball coach and Temple athletics administrator Fran Dunphy, New Orleans vice president for athletics and recreation Tim Duncan, and former basketball coach Bob Williams, who spent 19 of his 29 years as head coach at UC Santa Barbara.
  • CHARLESTON, S.C. – Jeremiah Williams scored a career-high 20 points and Khalif Battle had a game and season-high 28 to lead Temple to a 75-58 win over Elon in the seventh-place game of the Shriners Children's Charleston Classic Sunday morning at TD Arena.
  • CHARLESTON, S.C. – Temple will look to snap a three-game losing streak when it takes on Elon in its final game of the Shriners Children's Charleston Classic Sunday.  The game will tip off at 10:30 a.m. and be televised live by ESPNU and carried on 1210 AM WPHT.
  • CHARLESTON, S.C. – Boise State drained 12 three-pointers in defeating Temple, 82-62, in consolation round play of the Shriners Children's Charleston Classic Friday afternoon at TD Arena.  The Owls fall to 1-3 while the Broncos improve to 2-2.
  • CHARLESTON, S.C. – Less than 24 hours after falling to Clemson in its opening game of the Shriners Children's Charleston Classic, Temple (1-2) will take on Boise State (1-2) in the consolation bracket Friday at noon (ESPNU/1210 AM WPHT).
  • CHARLESTON, S.C. – A combination of cold-shooting by Temple (1-2) and a hot-shooting from Clemson lifted the Tigers (4-0) to a 75-58 win over the Owls in opening round play of the Shriners Children's Charleston Classic Thursday evening at TD Arena.
