  • PHILADELPHIA – As the college football season ends and transitions to the new year, many student-athletes are preparing for their own transitions to the National Football League. In the coming weeks, six Temple Owls will participate in senior showcases looking to impress coaches and scouts at the next level.
  • Kevin Grady, a running back for Temple from 1973-75, passed away on January 8. He was 65.
  • PHILADELPHIA – Temple head coach Rod Carey announced the promotion of Brett Diersen from associate special teams coordinator to outside linebacker coach and special teams coordinator. This promotion allows Diersen to be one of the ten full-time coaches with an on-field role.
  • ANNAPOLIS – In front of 24,242 fans at the 2019 Military Bowl the Temple Owls lost to the North Carolina Tar Heels 55-13.
  • PHILADELPHIA – With the 2019 college football regular season concluded, many media outlets have published their All-America teams. Three Owls – freshman running back Re'Mahn Davis, redshirt-junior center Matt Hennessy, and redshirt-junior defensive end Quincy Roche – have been recognized.
