A slow start to the game found the Owls down 14-0 after the first quarter. From there, Temple was unable to mount enough offense to cut into the Eagles' lead.

  • PHILADELPHIA – In today's game against Akron, Temple football will wear a Flight 93 sticker on the back of its helmets to honor the victims from September, 11, 2001 in which 40 passengers and crew lost their lives from Flight 93 that was hijacked and crashed in Shanksville, Pa.
  • After a disappointing season opener, the Owls travel to Akron to take on the Zips at InfoCision Stadium. Kickoff will be at 3:30pm and will air on ESPN+ and 97.5 The Fanatic.
