- PHILADELPHIA – The American Athletic Conference announced its 2021 football schedule today completing Temple's slate of 12 games for the 2021 season.
- PHILADELPHIA – In the culmination of the 2020 NFL season, Super Bowl LV saw Tampa Bay and its coaching staff full of Temple connections play host to the Kansas City Chiefs, whose Director of Pro Personnel Tim Terry played at Temple in the 1990's.
- Joining the Owls from the University of North Carolina are a pair of defensive linemen, Xach Gill, a redshirt junior and Lancine (Lance) Turay, a redshirt sophomore.
- D'Wan Mathis joins the Owls from the University of Georgia and Oak Park, Michigan. Mathis spent two seasons as a part of the Bulldogs under coach Kirby Smart.
- Amad Anderson Jr. joins the Owls from Purdue University where he played wide receiver for two seasons after redshirting during 2018, his freshman year.
- Keyshawn "KP" Paul joins the Owls after two seasons as a member of the UConn Huskies. Paul, a junior, entered the transfer portal after the Huskies opted not to field a team in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

- Fifth-year senior Willie Rodgers joins the Owls from Washington State University where the 6-4, 55-lb. defensive lineman played his first four seasons.
