Police say the suspect entered on Saturday, June 22, at about 7:50pm.

The robber

“walked around the store for several minutes before pulling out a black handgun and demanding money.”

Then, he forced the employee to the cash register.

That’s where the employee violently struggled with the robber over the handgun.

The robber knocked the employee down and ended up running away in an unknown direction.

Police ask that if you see the suspect, do not approach him. Instead, call the Northeast Detective Division at 215-686-3153 or 3154, or 911, or the police tipline at 215-686-TIPS (8477) immediately. You can also text a tip to PPD TIP or 773847, or click here to submit a tip electronically. They say all tips will remain anonymous.
